They used to go round
and round
in circles

parallel lives
never meeting each other

till one day
one incident
brought them together

it was a cold winter day
people were rushing here and there
all eager to get home before it gets too dark

he was one of them
and so was she

it was nothing much
just a brushing of shoulders
an exchange of looks

a smile
or two
and that was it

but on a cold winter night
it brought warmth and love
for both

then their paths diverged once more
but who's to say
they won't meet again?
